This Department exists to bring men, women and children into a worshipful experience with God which would ultimately result in a change of behaviour pleasing to God and development of character.
Women of the Word
Women of the Word is an important part in the life of the local Assembly and caters chiefly for the unique needs of all women with programs and activities geared towards education, edification and evangelization.
Missions and Evangelism
The Missions and Evangelism Network is pivotal to the vision and mission of the Woodbrook Pentecostal Church. This refers to the vision of reforming the nations through the development of leaders and world evangelization; as well as the mission of preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
YWTA (Youth with the Answer)
The Y.W.T.A. has been in existence since the late 1980’s. The organisation was born out of a need to provide the youth with a forum for self-expression and a fertile environment for their holistic development. Years later, its core mandates remain the same, a testament to the immense foresight of its founders, and the purity of the principles of Christ.
Social Services
At present the Committee is engaged in the distribution of Food Hampers monthly. Cooked lunches are delivered to the Shut-Ins every Saturday, clothing is distributed as the need arises. The Registered Nurses of the church conduct monthly Health Care Clinics at the Church.
Marriage Enrichment
To see successful marriages and by extension healthy functioning families who are maintaining the biblical definition of a family in this twenty-first century.
Christian Education Department
To provide insightful and wholesome instruction of God's Word and to contribute meaningfully to the spiritual and natural development of the unified Body of Christ
Men's Ministry
To empower the men of our fellowship to influence and transform other men in their realms of influence.
Serving
We exist to win the lost at all cost and make as many disciples for Christ as we possibly can in our generation. This is our mission and process for discipleship. Out of this, gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
